Strands of poems of thoughts
These days I am trying to finish my thesis. After hours of image analysis of iron bound flocs and pages of typing I sometimes look up ;-) Through my window. And since it is the size of my wall it's quite inspiring, even if the view could be better. And up jumps my childhood poetic soul and little poems just form themselves within seconds, like these:
I catch the thoughts that drift by
In front of my window
In the blink of an eye
And I
Know I'm still alive
***
Beautiful thunderstorm lightning the sky
Making fireworks
Like you and I
***
Rolling in the grass
Make me laugh
Make me sing
Rolling in the clouds
***
Strands of poems of thoughts
Are sailing through my mind
And ripple to the shores
Where my pen waits...
Fishermen, it's been a good catch.
Actually it's really easy, you just jut down some nicely sounding words and off you go. Try it, it's nice and it helps you relax and realise the beauty of life! (at least if that's the effect my little poems have on the reader I'd be happy :-) )
